Frequently Asked Questions

What materials can be dispensed with a jetting valve?

Jetting valves can dispense a wide range of fluids including UV adhesives, epoxy, conformal coatings, lubricants, and other industrial adhesives.

What is the advantage of a jetting valve compared to contact dispensing?

Jetting valves dispense material without touching the product surface, allowing faster speeds, better access to tight spaces, and reduced risk of contamination.

What viscosity range can the valve handle?

Jetting valves can handle low to high viscosity materials ranging from 1-500,000cps , depending on the valve configuration and whether heating is used.

Why is a heating module used with the jetting valve?

Heating helps reduce adhesive viscosity, improving flow stability and allowing more consistent jetting performance.

What should I do if the jetting nozzle becomes clogged?

Stop operation and clean or replace the nozzle. Regular maintenance and proper material handling can help reduce the risk of clogging.

How small can the dispensed dots be?

Jetting valves are capable of dispensing very small and precise adhesive dots, making them suitable for micro-dispensing applications in electronics and precision manufacturing.
